Absolutely stunning cottage. Every detail has been thought of. The wood burner was a highlight and the kitchen had everything we needed. Ken popped round to make sure we had everything — lovely touch.

We brought our two dogs and they were in heaven. The paddock is fully enclosed and the cottage genuinely welcomes dogs — not just tolerates them. Water bowls, towels, the lot.

The views from the patio are incredible. We spent every evening out there with a glass of wine watching the sunset. The cottage itself is finished to a very high standard — better than the photos.

Perfect base for exploring Yorkshire. Castle Howard and Helmsley are a short drive, and Annie's walking recommendations were spot on. The cottage is spotless and feels like a real home.

We've stayed in a lot of holiday cottages and this is genuinely the best. The attention to detail — from the welcome hamper to the quality of the linen — sets it apart. Already planning our next visit.
